The IONIQ Electric is equipped with everything you need to make your drive stress free and to get you to your destination in no time at all.  Hyundai offer a free five year subscription to Hyundai’s LIVE Services. Access real-time information on petrol station locations, traffic, weather and POI, as well as parking options.

Interior

The Hyundai offers a clean and simple finish inside making the interior light and airy. The interior of the IONIQ has been designed to offer elegant and clever storage spaces.
Standard heated steering wheel and front seats provide warmth in the winter months, while the dual zone climate control offers a break from the hot summers. Premium SE models also feature ventilated front seats for added relief. The IONIQ Electric provides the ultimate comfort for the driver and passengers, making those long journeys enjoyable for everyone.

Bluelink

  • Remote Charging and Heating

Whilst plugged in, you can schedule your charging
and interior temperature based on the departure
time. You can also see the status of your charge and
defrost your car on chilly mornings.

  • Remote Door and Unlock

We have all forgot at some point in our busy lives to forget to lock the car door, well don’t worry, the Bluelink app will alert you. After entering your PIN, you can
lock or unlock your IONIQ Electric remotely.

  • Destination send to car

You can use the Bluelink app to search for destinations while
outside of your vehicle. Bluelink then syncs with your
navigation system, loading your desired route.

On demand Diagnostics

You can run vehicle diagnostics directly from the 10.25” touchscreen
or check on vehicle health using the Bluelink app.

Find my Car

Forgot where you have parked your vehicle? Just open
the Bluelink app and the map will guide
you there.

Exterior

The exterior of the Hyundai offers a sleek silhouette, combining the look of a traditional car design, with a modern futuristic design.

Colours available: Polar White, Fluidic Metal, Intense Blue, Fiery Red, Phantom Black, Electric Shadow and Typhoon Silver.

Charging

The IONIQ Electric can be charged at home or on the go. You can schedule your charging based on your chosen departure time and also of make the most of lower cost night time electricity rates.

  • Wall Box

In order to optimise the performance of the IONIQ Electric Hyundai would highly recommend that owners have a dedicated charging solution at home. This can provide a 100% charge in six hours 5 minutes. In the UK, POD Point is Hyundai’s preferred partner for domestic charge points and they help customers securing £350 (including VAT) of government support towards their purchase and installation of their Smart Wallbox.

  • Public Charging Station

IONIQ Electric is compatible with most public AC charging stations. Charging time is the same as the standard charging time of 6 hours 5 minutes.

  • Rapid Charging Station

Using a DC power source is the fastest way to charge your IONIQ Electric. 80% Charging time is around 57 minutes on a 50 kW DC charger.

  • Emergency Occasional

IONIQ Electric is delivered with an In-Cable Control Box Emergency 3 Pin Connector that can be used when travelling to places with no other dedicated charging solutions. Charging time is approximately 19 hours.

  • Charging Locations

The IONIQ Electric is fitted with advanced navigation system which includes the category ‘Charging Station’ in its Point Of Interest menu. Selecting ‘Charging Station’ will highlight your closest public charging stations.

Performance

The large-capacity battery offers a range up to 194 miles, and can be recharged to 80% in as little as 57 minutes.

Safety

Lane Departure Warning System with Lane Keep Assist

This alerts the driver that they are drifting out of a lane. A camera which is fitted in the
windscreen recognises lane markings. If the vehicle starts to drift over the lane markings,
it activates a visual and audible alert for the driver.

Windsor Vehicle Leasing would like to take this opportunity to thank all the members of the NHS and all who support it for their remarkable work to keep us all safe. We would also like to update you on VE Day 75th Anniversary Celebrations (In Association with Swan-Radio) in our local village of Datchet, on Friday 8th May Swan-Radio will be celebrating throughout the day culminating with a speech from Sir Winston Churchill at 3pm.

Over the last few weeks we have been busy working with businesses and individuals to ensure they’re able to keep moving in these difficult times.  Some have needed assistance adapting their ways of working, or to provide new services or products in the current trading circumstances.  WVL were pleased to supply a vehicle to Flowerz florists in Datchet near Windsor.

In the last few weeks they’ve changed the focus of their business from floristry to home delivery of fruit and vegetable packages.  This service is being provided to key workers and those in need within the local area.  Thus helping to support the community and at the same time offering a valuable source of income to the business.

Naomi of Flowerz contacted us via our website over the weekend and by Tuesday had been supplied with a vehicle to suit their new needs.

Naomi commented: “ WVL have been fantastic at organising a short term van rental to enable me to continue providing a local delivery service of fresh fruit and vegetable boxes to priority workers and those in need. Their customer service is outstanding and I appreciate their efforts in such challenging circumstances”

The Tesla Model Y is designed to be the safest vehicle on the road. With its Low Center of Gravity, Impact Protection and Rigid Structure this model provides the ultimate protection for its driver.

When is the Model Y available in the UK?

Tesla said it expects to deliver the performance, long range versions of the Model Y by autumn 2020. The standard version of the Model Y is expected to roll out in the spring of 2021.

 

What the Model Y Offers?
The Model Y can seat up to 7 passengers. Each second row seat folds flat which gives more space and storage for those long trips away with the family or on business trips. There is also an access trunk which makes it really easy for loading and unloading which makes life that little bit easier for everyone.

 

All-Wheel Drive- Dual Motor
The Tesla All-Wheel Drive has not one but two independent electric motors. These two motors control the front and rear wheels. This aids the handling, traction and control of the vehicle. Having the dual motor means that this vehicle has the ability to power in all weather conditions rain, mud and off road making this car ready for anything.

 

Range
The Model Y is fully electric. Whether it’s a short journey or a long journey the Model Y is easy to plug in with the Tesla charging points.

Tesla currently have over 16,000 Supercharges worldwide, with six new locations opening every week so there really is no excuse not to drive Tesla’s latest electric cars.

– The Tesla Model Y can go anywhere with up to 316 miles of range on a single charge
– The Model Y can recharge 158 miles in 15 minutes at Supercharger locations

UK prices will be revealed closer to launch
The Tesla Model Y will be available in the following price ranges:

  • Long Range, that will be available at around £36,000 estimated (TBA)
  • Performance Range, that will be available at around £46,000 estimated (TBA)

 

Autopilot
The Tesla Y comes with the standard emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, collision warning and much more.

Looking to the future for the Model Y, Tesla would like to see this model capable of offering its passengers the full Self-Driving motion experience and the ability to track you anywhere which is where Tesla stands out from its other competitors, making the impossible possible.

 

Interior

Looking at the interior of the Model Y you are immediately drawn towards the impressive 15 inch Touchscreen Display which gives the passenger a virtual feeling of the surroundings and gives the inside a very futuristic feeling and look.  Everything from the speedometer to climate control is captured on the large display which is something you have to get used to. This is very easy to do with its very self explanatory user interface.

Whilst you are sitting in the car when the vehicle is charging, It is also expected to offer functions like Hulu, Netflix, video games and Youtube apps.

The interior itself is simple and has a minimal feel which offers a large sense of space and freedom to the drive.

The model Y also has the advantage of an all glass roof which gives a massive sense of space and light. It enables you to have more headroom and the ability to see the surroundings very well.

Following current UK Government guidelines all our offices are now temporarily closed to all visitors with immediate effect, and until further notice. However, we will continue to answer all calls, emails and enquiries as normal.

We have made arrangements for home working wherever possible, and we can endeavour to answer your queries and take forward orders.

All vehicle collections and deliveries are suspended until further notice. Contactless deliveries and collections will only be carried out where absolutely essential for key workers, or to support individuals in need, and only upon receipt of a UK Governmental letter of authority.

Under new FCA rules, if your income and ability to pay is impacted short term due to coronavirus you are entitled to ask us for up to 3 months payment deferral on your vehicle contract, but with the condition that the payments  deferred are later made good. If you wish to consider this, please contact us via email on [email protected] so that we can look at your situation and advise you on all the implications.

NB. Your account must have been fully up to date prior to commencement of lockdown for you to request a deferral under this cashflow concession.

These charges offer 250kW for the first time in the UK

A ban on selling new petrol, diesel and hybrid cars in the UK will be brought forward from 2040 to 2035 at the latest according to new government plans.
